Betty Kay founded b k Reynolds, pc in 1993, when she returned home to Knoxville to open her own business as a certified public accountant. After completing her BS in Accounting and her Masters of Accountancy from the University of Tennessee – Knoxville, she began her career with the tax department of Ernst & Young in Atlanta, Georgia and then moved to a local firm in Atlanta. Betty Kay is the heart of b k Reynolds, pc which is now a well-established accounting firm serving Knoxville and the surrounding areas.
Betty Kay is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA).
Betty Kay loves time spent golfing and enjoying UT football games with friends and family. She also loves spending time with her dog Izzy, who is also a part of the BKRPC family. Izzy is around to spend most work days with the employees and greet any visitors to the office.
Celeste joined b k Reynolds, pc in 2008 and serves as a tax accountant. She earned her BA in Business from Maryville College. After working several years in corporate finance and accounting, she continued her education in accounting at Tennessee Wesleyan-Knoxville and subsequently earned her designation as a Certified Public Accountant.
Through the years at BKRPC, she has served in a full-time, part-time and seasonal capacity. Currently, she works part-time January through April while also serving full-time as the chief financial officer of her family’s block manufacturing and brick business in Maryville, TN.
Celeste loves spending time with her husband, son and daughter. Together they enjoy boating, camping, ATV trail riding, mountain biking, hiking and skiing. When at home, they also love spending time with their extended fur family, a dog and three cats. They attend Hardin Valley Church of Christ.
